In the Mexican side of the border after a small walk of 10 minutes from de border to the downtown you will be hanging around in the Avenida Revolucion, it’s a space full of folklore where you can see different elements of the Mexican culture but also understand the happy spirit of Tijuana. You will try tacos and there’s plenty of them, meat, fish, even vegetarian ones. As you are already in Mexico the suggestion its take a sip of coffee or chocolate if you wish, the Tijuana coffee shops have the best coffee beans from Chiapas, Veracruz or Puebla; my personal recommendation it’s the “Café de la Olla” you never have taste something like that. Tijuana and the Mexican street food are waiting for you.
